Like every year, from the so-called Capital of Timba, the renowned publication salsaytimba.org.pe (Peru) has posted the voting results to recognize the best of the genre.
Since 1997, different specialists, music lovers, collectors, DJ's, journalists and radio hosts from all over the world are consulted to produce the results that, in various categories, recognize "(...) the effort and the work made by musicians throughout the year(...)".
