David Calzado y La Charanga Habanera coming from SouthAmerica tour (Argentina) arrived to Europe for the winter tour 2009. They had a first concert in Spain at November 5 and will stay in Europe untill November, 29 crossing a lot of countries (included Danimarca to perform in Latin Festival 2009 of Copenaghen).

La Charanga Habanera got together in 1988 playing traditional son, but the power of the timba moved them to change their style around 1992. Nowadays they are the greatest Timba band of all-time.

With more than ten years of experience, La Barriada is gaining success with his popular dance music, under the direction of Juan Kemell, not only a virtuoso of the trumpet but also an exceptional composer and arranger. This Orchestra programmed an interesting series of concerts in Europe, especially in the countries of the North (Sweden and Denmark) to promote  its latest and very nice album "Havananza".
