Young cuban reggaeton star Elvis Manuel, who disappeared in April 2008 in the waters between Cuba and Florida, is still living in the memory of his many fans.
In tribute to the missing artist, Cubamusic has gathered in “Best of Elvis Manuel” twenty of his most popular and significant songs and introduces his last artwork “Ella y Los Dos”, included in the last Album 2010 of Ricardo Leyva and Sur Caribe “Horizonte Proximo”

Born in 1989, in the in the suburbs of Havana, Elvis was considered a very talented artist, endowed with a great and particular voice and extraordinary interpretative abilities. At the young age of 17 he asserted himself in the urban reggaetton movement, together with his great friend Dj Jerry. His fame overpassed quickly the bounderies of Cuba thanks to songs such as “ La Tuba”, “La Mulata”, “El Chulo”, “Sacude y saca petroleo” played in the disco of the whole world.

Elvis Manuel died at the young age of 19, leaving an indelible sign in reggaetton music. To this day we still yearn while listening to his unforgettable music.
