Combinacion de la Habana, together since 2007, is a young 13 member orchestra. All of them just have an enormous experience with previous other famous timbera orchestras. Even the band’s director, the famous pianist and composer, Gerson Emilio Valdes, spent a long period as member of Azucar Negra.
After countless highly successful concerts, especially in the Casa della Musica at Galliano, Centro Habana, Combinacion is now focusing on a wider international public with this excellent album “Moda Habana” that offers some of the most recent Cuban Timba hits: “El Pillo”, “La Moda”, “La Careta” “Se te fué l’avion”.

Hector Daniel y la Constelacion, right from 2001 have received a soaring rise in popularity and success. Their new abum, “El Corazon se acelera” is already their third CD and considered the best recording achievement in the many years experience of this orchestra, who are a longstanding presence on the Cuban and international scene.
In this new release Salsa takes the initiative, even if there is no lack of incursions into other genres like merengue, cumbia and other Caribbean rhythms. The band’s director and singer, Hector Daniel, offers us another proof of his talent and his great vocal ability and this CD has all the numbers to become a launching pad for the Matanzera Constelacion, which has dominated for years and with great success the international music scene of Casa della Musica of Varadero, the world famous Cuban night spot.
