The Havana Polyphonic Choir was created in 1999 under the leadership of Carmen Collado López.
The choir is made up by students and graduates from prestigious Cuban schools of music and from the Higher Institute of Art, respectively.
It has a comprehensive repertory ranging from the polyphonic music of the 16th century to modern works with a special interest in Cuban music.
The Havana Polyphonic Choir is developing an active artistic life through multiple presentations at concert halls in the country and in both national and international choral events.
