Trova player, poet and music author, Gerardo Aldana Calzado was born in September 24th, 1950 in Santiago de Cuba.
He has covered the Sierra Maestra mountains for almost 40 years with his sweet trova singing voice.
As representative of the Cuban traditional music, Gerardo Aldana has given international workshops about trova, son and bolero.
